Help the Aged – Auction in
Celebration of International Day of Older Persons
We would like to acknowledge and thank our chairperson, Betty Gittens, Brenda Packer the staff person who co-ordinated the event as well as our auction committee. The event sponsors and donors are also greatly appreciated for their support. Many thanks, to our hard working staff and volunteers who assisted with all the details of the event.
Our committee members were the heart of the auction and gathered unique and exciting items, sold tickets and publicized the event. Thanks and gratitude to our committee members;

We appreciate everyone’s efforts in making our first auction, held on September 30th, in celebration of International Day of Older Persons, a great success.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Ottawa volunteers and staff, Help the Aged was able to raise more than $96,000 at our very first dinner and auction to celebrate October 1st, International Day of Older Persons.
