Mississauga Clinic to raise funds for another Gran
The Mississauga Specialty Care Clinic recently adopted a Gran to honour its volunteers and have now decided it would like to be able to sponsor another. It will be holding kiosk on August 18th to raise funds for a second Gran and to provide local residents with information about our Adopt-A-Gran program. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the clinic for promoting the sponsorship program!
HTA kiosks going city-wide
On July 17th, volunteers participated in a kiosk at Westgate Shopping Center to raise awareness about our local program, Reaching Out to Isolated Seniors (ROTIS). We will also be visiting more local malls.

Intern puts her heart into helping elderly -
Kara-Leigh Jameson, a 25-year-old graduate of the University of Alberta, has recently left to begin her work in the “Nature Island” of Dominica--a small but wonderful place in the Caribbean. Kara left on July 18 and will be there until February 2008.
